The Chair Problem is an entertainment brand built around the comedy of thinking too much.
Thinkging is useful. Thinking too much is hilarious.
You probably know the feeling.
Someone asks a simple question. You give a simple answer. Then someone asks, "Well, what do you mean by 'simple'?" Twenty minutes later, nobody remembers the original question.
That is the Chair Problem.
The thinking isn't the problem.
Curiosity is good. Asking better questions can lead to better answers.
But there is a point somewhere between "Do I want a sandwich?" and "Do I have a complete philosophical framework for choosing a sandwich?" where the whole thing becomes very funny.
Sometimes, thinking just... keeps going. Whether you want it to or not.
You may know this person.
You may BE this person.
Unnecessary follow-up questions.
Context nobody requested.
Invented systems that did not need improving.
The simple answer is just not good enough.
Sound familiar?
So why is it called The Chair Problem?
Someone asks: What is a chair?
Easy, something you sit on. I can sit on a horse, is a horse a chair? Uh...no... Why not, we sit on it.
And suddenly, a completely ordinary object has become a philosophical problem nobody needed solved.
That's the Chair Problem.
For the overthinkers in your life.
The Chair Problem is ultimately an affectionate joke about people who think a little too much.
Sometimes that's you. Sometimes it's someone you love. Usually, they already know who they are.
The products are a way to celbrate our fellow overthinkers, share the joke, or give someone a gift.
"I know exactly how your brain works. I love you anyway."
